Nipples are used to convert tapered pipe thread (NPT) to a fire hose thread. One end has tapered pipe thread, the other fire hose thread. The hexagon body permits the tapered thread to be permanently attached to a pipe thread. They are made from brass with a brushed finish.
The small male end is National Pipe Thread (NPT). The large male end is a fire hose thread. Please specify large male thread when ordering.
