STRIKE TEAM® Clothing has been designed to equip the wildland firefighter with garments that provide the best in both protection and comfort. Every garment is made of flame resistant materials, and all of our clothing is classified in accordance with NFPA 1977 Standard on Protective Clothing and Equipment for Wildland Fire Fighting, 2005 edition.
NOMEX® is built for flame resistance. The NOMEX® fabric fibers are durable, soft, comfortable, and lighter in weight than their cotton counterpart. This unique combination of properties means that the firefighters who rely on it can be comfortable, while remaining safe and protected from the hazards they face on the job every day. The 6 oz. NOMEX® is available in a high-visibility Yellow on our Brush Pants, Brush Coats and Strike Team® Shirts. The 7.5 oz. NOMEX® is available in Spruce Green on our Strike Team® Pants.
All Strike Team® Fire Gear Brush Coats and Brush Pants are full-cut, to allow freedom of movement in all aspects. Sewn to high quality standards with tough KEVLAR® and NOMEX® thread, double stitched seams, reinforced zippers with triple stitches and double top stitching on outer leg seams, pocket flaps, reinforced knees, fly and crotch. They are available in even numbered waist and inseam sizes. Strike Team® Brush Clothing comes in a high-visibility yellow, in your choice of INDURA® Ultra Soft® or NOMEX®. Classified in accordance with NPFA 1977 Standard on Protective Clothing and Equipment for Wildland Fire Fighting, 2005 Edition.
