STRIKE TEAM® Clothing has been designed to equip the wildland firefighter with garments that provide the best in both protection and comfort. Every garment is made of flame resistant materials, and all of our clothing is classified in accordance with NFPA 1977 Standard on Protective Clothing and Equipment for Wildland Fire Fighting, 2005 edition.
Decades of research and development have led to a revolutionary new fabric for wildland garments, called INDURA® Ultra Soft®. INDURA® Ultra Soft® flame resistant fabrics are a blend of 88% cotton and 12% high tenacity nylon. The product is engineered to focus the excellent abrasion resistance of the nylon on the face of the fabric to enhance garment wear life, while the cotton fibers are focused towards the skin to optimize comfort. INDURA® Ultra Soft® is guaranteed flame resistant for the life of the garment and new advancements in technology have led to an extremely soft feel that enhances the breathable comfort of cotton. INDURA® Ultra Soft® is available on our Brush Coats, Brush Pants and Strike Team® Shirts, in a high-visibility Yellow.
