The Standard Painted Steel Booster Reel is the dependable, rugged reel that has set the standard for fire service reels for more than 50 years.
The Super Booster Reel is the top of the line. It weighs up to 50% less than standard booster reels and features an all-aluminum frame and drum, chip-proof polished aluminum discs, and plated drive chain, sprocket, hub assembly, swivel joint and fastenings. No painting or finishing is required. Both reels have the same construction features.
Inlet is 1” female NPT 90 Degree swivel joint rated at 1000 PSI. Straight joint is available, please specify when ordering. Outlet Riser is 1” male NST or 1” Male NPSH. Female outlet or other threads are available and must be specified.
The rewind has a chain and sprocket drive powered by 12-volt or 24-volt electric motor is standard. Remote push-button operating switch, solenoid and connectors are included with electric rewind models. Horizontal ring and pinion gear crank rewind mechanism is standard. Vertical or 30 Degree mechanisms are optional at extra cost and must be specified. A pinion shaft brake is standard.
