This tool is especially useful in smothering grass and grain fires in arid regions, or in direct attack on range fires.
The tool withstands rough services. The cross member and shank are constructed from high carbon steel with a 12” x 15” x 3/16” fire resistant flap, made from reinforced belting. The overall length is 75” and it weighs 5½ lbs.
