The newly designed Fire Shelter offers improved emergency protection from radiant, thermal, and convective heat. All Federal, State, and local wildland firefighters carry the Fire Shelter.
Each shelter comes with a bright blue carrying case with a hard plastic liner, which is equipped with hardware for attaching to a waist belt. Shelter and case weights 4.2 lbs. Size when in case is 9" x 5.75" x 4.5". Instructions for use are included. Fire Shelter meets performance standards of NFPA and U.S. Forest Service Spec. 5100-320.
