The Gizmo is a compact, lightweight shut-off device that can be used to restrict water flows when hose lines are laid downhill.
The Gizmo can be used as a shut off in hose lines, behind foam or other nozzles not equipped with conventional shut-offs. The Gizmo is not a positive shut-off, but in situations where a small amount of leakage is acceptable this compact, lightweight and inexpensive shut-off is a valuable tool.
The Gizmo is made from 6061-T6 aluminum, that has been hard anodized for corrosion resistance. It has 1½” NH male and female threads. Weight is only 6.8 oz. and the size is compact: 2” in length and 2½” in diameter.
