A single cotton polyester jacket with a high grade single ply extruded rubber liner. The jacket has been treated against the effects of mildew in accordance with USFS requirements for 5100-186. This tough hose stands up to heat and abrasion much better than the all-synthetic lightweight hoses. A standard for many wildland firefighting agencies, this type of Wildland fire protection fire hose is desirable when hose melting and burning is a major concern.
