Bullard Wildfire helmets are specifically engineered to meet the special needs of wildland/ forestry firefighters. Manufactured from heat-resistant thermoplastic for superior impact and penetration protection, Wildfire helmets meet and exceed the performance specifications of NFPA 1977-2005. These helmets also exceed all major state fire codes for wildland firefighting. Wildfire™ helmets are designed to accept a full range of brackets for faceshield visors and screens. Bullard offers two helmet suspensions that provide a secure and comfortable fit. The standard 6-point suspension cradles the head and centers it in the helmet. The Sure-Lock® suspension sizes quickly with the turn of a ratchet knob. Both suspensions feature a brow pad that pulls moisture away from the skin, creating a more comfortable fit. The brow pad is hand washable and replaceable.
