These hoods meet or exceed the NFPA 1971-2000 edition for structural firefighting, and each hood carries the Underwriters’ Laboratory certification label. Hoods are compatible with breathing apparatus. Sewn with NOMEX® thread in a flatlock safety stitch, increasing durability and comfort with a flat “butt” seam. Face opening is sewn with 3/8” heavy duty covered elastic and measures 5” relaxed, and 14” extended. All styles are 2-ply throughout.
Measurements:
- 13” from the crown to the bib seam
- 8.5” from the top of the face openingto the back seam
- 10” from the bottom of the head tothe back seam
- Full 2 ply bib extends 5” at theshoulder and 8” in the front and back
