These hoods meet or exceed the NFPA 1971-2000 edition for structural firefighting, and each hood carries the Underwriters’ Laboratory certification label. Hoods are compatible with breathing apparatus. Sewn with NOMEX® thread in a flatlock safety stitch, increasing durability and comfort with a flat “butt” seam. Face opening is sewn with 3/8” heavy duty covered elastic and measures 5” relaxed, and 14” extended. All styles are 2-ply throughout.
Measurements:
- 113/5” from the top of the face opening to the bottom in front
- 19” from crown to bib seam in the back
- 15½ ” crown to the shoulder notch onthe sides
- 9” from the top of the face opening tothe back seam
- 9½” from the bottom of the face opening to the back seam
- Bottom width is 10”
