These hoods meet or exceed the NFPA 1971-1997 edition for structural firefighting, and each hood carries the Underwriters’ Laboratory certification label. These hoods are compatible with breathing apparatus.
Hoods are sewn with NOMEX® thread in a flatlock safety stitch, increasing durability and comfort with a flat “butt” seam. The face opening is sewn with 3/8” heavy duty covered elastic and measures 5” relaxed, and 13.5” extended. All styles are 2-ply throughout.
