Fires that break out in inaccessible areas require a quick, powerful response. For fires like this, Waterous has developed a unique Floating Pump that weighs less than 50 lbs., is small enough for one person to carry, can be quickly placed in operation, and provides a powerful stream for firefighting.
The Floto-Pump can operate in as little as 6 inches of water and run 60-90 minutes on one tankful of fuel.
There are two models of the Floto-Pump. The standard model provides 140 GPM at 27 PSI or 20 GPM at 102 PSI. The second model is the Forest Service Model which is qualified under U.S.F.S. Spec. No. 5100-00275. This high pressure unit provides 60 GPM at 33 PSI or 10 GPM at 171 PSI.
Both pumps have a 1½” discharge. The overall size of the pumps is 28” x 16” x 20”, weight is 50 lbs.
