These Dump Valves offer a fast and efficient method of dumping water from a tanker into a portable tank at the fire scene. These valves can dump up to 3000 gallons of water per minute under ideal conditions. A 2000-gallon tanker can be emptied in less than a minute. They can easily be installed on existing tankers.
Installation instructions and template are provided with each valve, and all valves are 10” x 10” x 24”. They are constructed so that all parts that are constantly in contact with water are stainless steel, brass or rubber. The remainder of the valve is made of hot-rolled, prime-painted mild steel.
The Standard Dump Valve incorporates the flip-up, which moves completely out of the water way for improved flow. It is 29% faster than any other conventional valve tested. Handle and controls are mounted on the top, however left and right side controls are also available.
