The Ejector is a valuable tool for obtaining additional water supplies from sources that would normally be difficult or impossible to reach. The Ejector will pick up more than twice as much water as is used to activate them. This allows water to be obtained from as much as 70 feet below the pumper or from sources several hundred feet from the pump.
Cascade now manufactures two sizes of Ejectors, the 1Ѕ” (part number 14726) and the 2Ѕ”. It is not necessary, but it is advised that a footvalve and strainer be connected to the suction port; this will prevent loss of prime and prevent foreign objects from entering the water supply.
